AmScope IN480 Series Inverted Infinity-corrected Phase-contrast Trinocular Compound Microscope 40X-900X Magnification with Koehler Illumination and 8MP USB 2.0 Camera
Product information for AmScope IN480 Series Inverted Infinity-corrected Phase-contrast Trinocular Compound Microscope 40X-900X Magnification with Koehler Illumination and 8MP USB 2.0 Camera
The IN480T provides high-resolution optics and a versatile illumination system in a stable, ergonomic design for observing cell cultures and other biological and chemical specimens. The inverted form accommodates larger specimen containers, with multiple specimen templates and mechanical stage controls to improve workflow. High-resolution optics and phase-contrast capability maximize contrast and clarity to ensure high quality images. The viewing head has a 45 & deg incline and Siedentopf interpupillary adjustment for flexibility and comfort. The trinocular format provides a dedicated photo-port for mounting a microscopy camera for capturing photos or videos. The infinity-corrected optical system eliminates optical errors when using filters and other in-line components, ensuring highly-precise images. Five brightfield objective lenses and two sets of eyepieces provide a wide magnification range from 40X to 900X, with plan-achromatic corrections for high resolution, accurate colors, and edge-to-edge sharpness. Additionally, three phase-ring equipped objective lenses can be used for phase-contrast observation. The Koehler transmitted illumination system consists of a centerable 30W halogen lamp, a field lens with iris, and a centerable, height-adjustable condenser with iris. The ability to center the lamp and condenser, along with the field and aperture diaphragms, allow for highly-efficient, optimized illumination for maximum resolution. Along with height adjustment, the condenser can be swung out of the light path. A slide-in annulus board provides two centerable phase-contrast annuli, as well as an open setting which can be used with colored filters for band-isolation or color-correction. The 8MP USB 2.0 digital camera captures still images and video, and allows you to view a live stream on your PC. With software available for Windows, Mac, and Linux, it's a multi-platform imaging solution. The included Windows software offers image-development and measurement tools, as well as advanced compositing features such as image-stitching and extended-depth-of-focus. Independent preview and capture resolutions allow you to view high-speed video while capturing high-definition images. For Mac and Linux, there is a lite version with limited processing features. This microscope operates on 90-240V wide-band voltage for use in multiple international regions.
