GOLDEN Glass Bead Gel is made with genuine glass beads, and offers a unique effect similar to condensation on glass. Its viscosity is similar to that of GOLDEN Heavy Body, with a similar three-dimensionality to it with its added peaks. It's best seen in thin films over a light colour to allow the glass beads to be illuminated, creating a dazzling effect.

GOLDEN Clear Granular Gel can be used for adding texture to acrylic paints while maintaining good transparency and not altering the colour. This medium blends well with GOLDEN Acrylics and is great for creating translucent, textural glazes, similar to that of condensation on glass. It dries hard, but can be made more flexible when mixed with other GOLDEN Gels or Mediums.

Daler-Rowney Purified Linseed Oil has been refined of any impurities and made fit for use as an artist's oil painting medium. When added neat to oil colour, it increases gloss, transparency and drying time. This makes colours workable for a longer period of time. GOLDEN Matte Medium is a general purpose, pourable medium useful for extending colours, decreasing gloss and increasing film integrity. Can be used as a ground, instead of gesso. GOLDEN Matte Mediums are liquid, 100% pure acrylic polymer mediums that have matting solids added to lower sheen. They can be used to extend paints, increase translucency, and decrease gloss. GOLDEN Fluid Matte Medium can be used to lower the sheen of a high gloss product, but the blend will not result in a completely matte finish. To achieve a matte finish from a high gloss product, Super Matte Medium should be added. Fluid Matte Medium and regular Matte Medium can also be used as translucent gessoes.

GOLDEN Soft Gel is a pourable gel that holds slight peaks and can be mixed with heavy body paints to extend colours and produce large quantities of economic colour. When mixed with a small amount of colour it creates an excellent glaze. Soft Gel is also an good glue for collage and can also be used as a clear primer. GOLDEN GAC 900 is a liquid acrylic medium designed to be blended with artists' acrylics to create fabric paints. This allows acrylics to be applied to fabrics, textiles, and garments, and gives them the ability to hold up over repeated washes. GAC 900 is designed to be blended with standard artist acrylic paints, such as GOLDEN Heavy Body Acrylics. Start at a 1:1 mixing ratio of paint to GAC 900, and adjust as needed to modify the consistency for the type of paint application you intend to do. The amount of GAC 900 may also be increased to improve softness of hand (such as when working on delicate fabrics. Apply the paints as desired and allow the paint to dry well before heat-setting. Heat-setting is necessary to fuse the GAC 900 into the fabric and improve the "hand" or softness of the laundered garment. The temperature setting and heating duration impact how well the paints will remain in the garment during repeated wash/dry cycles.

GOLDEN Crackle Paste is a thick, opaque cracking material, designed to develop deep fissure-like cracks as it cures. The size and extent of the crackle pattern is dependent on many factors, including the thickness of application, and the environmental conditions (temperature, relative humidity and air flow) during drying. The cracking performance is, to some extent, unpredictable. Crackle Paste is a water-based product formulated with styrene-acrylic copolymer emulsions, and may have a tendency to yellow. This product has white, low-density solids that replace traditional fillers. Its unique ratio of specific solids and binders allows for a "controlled failure" to occur and the result is its tendency to crack. It has a consistency similar to cake icing, easily manipulated by a palette knife. Peaks will maintain their height and appearance. It is a harder film than the GOLDEN Light Molding Paste, yet still retains an absorbent surface. Films dry to an opaque, matte finish to which subsequent layers of acrylic paint and mediums can be applied. Crackle Paste can be easily tinted with GOLDEN Heavy Body, Matte, High Load and Fluid Acrylic Paints. This is a highly variable product, and it should NOT be assumed that it will perform exactly the same each time the product is used. Review this information carefully and conduct testing before using this product on artwork or decorative finishes. Drying times greatly depend upon film thickness. Very thin films will dry to the touch in several hours but may not develop much cracking. Increasing film thickness will increase the tendency to crack and also the size of the cracks and platelets. Cracks can take several days to fully develop. Do not force dry Crackle Paste, nor try to slow the drying by adding Retarder or other additives, as both conditions may interfere with the products ability to crack. Crackle Paste cleans up with soap and water. Do not let products dry on tools. Keep tools wet while in use. Soak tools in soapy water to remove dried films. While it is possible to apply Crackle Paste onto a wide variety of surfaces, the extreme shrinking can warp flexible products like paper or canvas. Therefore, applications onto rigid supports such as wooden panels, sheetrock (decorative/faux finish applications) or hardboard are recommended. Product Information Sheet

GOLDEN Regular Gel Mediums offers artists the ability to extend paint and regulate their translucency without altering the consistency of their colours. These gels have the same creamy consistency as GOLDEN Heavy Body Acrylic colours. They're ideal for extending paint and regulating translucency without changing the consistency of the Heavy Body and Matte colours. Holds moderate peaks and texture. The Regular Gel Gloss is ideal for glazing and other techniques where transparency is desired.

Winsor & Newton Galeria Modelling Paste is a fine texture paste with soft yet thick sculptural consistency. Build up depth in layers, allowing each to dry. Applied neat, Modelling Paste dries a flat matt white and can be primed or painted over with acrylic media, or watercolours and ink for textural washes. Modelling paste can also be mixed with acrylic colour and acrylic ink to make coloured pastes with a slight pastel tint due to the white pigmentation of the paste. Apply with a brush or with a painting knife and do not dilute.
