For optimal results, apply Sennelier Oil Sticks in thin layers-no more than 1mm thick-ensuring each layer is completely dry before adding another. These versatile sticks can be diluted with turpentine or petroleum for brush application. If you wish to varnish your painting, you must wait 6 months, as with traditional oil paints, for the colour to dry. Before use, ensure you peel off the surface film, which will reform after a few days without use to protect the colour.
