The Bey hat is a flat-brimmed shape made of Squishee, a man-made material incorporating recycled fibers that is lightweight and packable. It will not crack with wear or melt when wet and is more durable and lightweight than natural fiber straw. The dramatic brim is flattering and adds stature, providing maximum sun protection. This structured shape features a flat-topped crown, banded with cotton grosgrain ribbon finishing to the side in a man-tailored bow. Squishee blocks 95% UVA/UVB rays, and independent testing has determined this product's effectiveness for blocking ultraviolet radiation as well as UVA/UVB radiation. It has been awarded the highest rating of UPF 50+. Because of slight pin hole perforations in the weave, this style is not recommended for melanoma patients. The Bey hat is available in cream/white color and is designed for women.
