Le Klint 172 Pendant by Le Klint
Product information for Le Klint 172 Pendant by Le Klint
An engaging yet simple design. The 172 Pendant from Le Klint is an example of modern origami. The White plastic foil shade is pressed into the desired shape and then hand-folded into its three-dimensional form. First created in 1971, the Le Klint 172 Pendant is a retro design by Poul Christiansen that is capable of fitting in with a wide range of settings, such as either a kitchen or an assembly hall. Tage Klint pioneered the family handicraft business in Denmark in 1943, inspired by P.F. Jensen-Klints invention of the pleated lampshade. Today, Le Klint lighting is distinguished by cool mid-century modern lighting designs that offer movement and sculpture to contemporary spaces.
