Antique English pot rack with endless versatility. It was originally designed to hang from the back of a chair, allowing to rest heavy pots and pans when serving a formal dinner. This one is unique in that it can be used as a free-standing rack to hold plants or hot pans. When attached to a solid piece of wood, it is sturdy and strong. The rack can be further fortified by bolting it to the back surface with the bolt holes. Plant and pot sold separately.

Antique Staffordshire porcelain cottage "Pastille" (incense) burner. In the 1800s pastilles were burnt to produce fragrant smells in an attempt to fumigate or deodorize what could often be very foul smelling air. A small chunk of incense or pastille was placed inside and lit, vapors would have travelled up through the chimney out into the room. It was believed that the foul odors of city life caused disease. As with most early Staffordshire, there no maker's mark.
