The Blackstar Dept. 10 AMPED 2 is a 100W pedal power amplifier with drive pedals in the front end, and an advanced effects processor, capable of delivering the tone and feel of traditional valve amps. You can use it in the front end of a traditional amp, power a cabinet at 100 Watts, or go direct, ensuring you can take your sound with you anywhere. Power reduction down to 1W and USB-C connectivity means it’s equally at home in the studio or the stage. This is a certified refurbished product. The Response switch delivers three distinctly different authentic power valve responses - EL84, EL34, and 6L6. Each set delivers the response, dynamics, sag, and break-up characteristics of the selected valve power amp. Pro connectivity and integration into your setup using low latency USB audio as an interface for recording, and XLR D.I. for live use. It includes the CabRig, Blackstar’s next-generation DSP speaker simulator that reproduces the sound and feel of a mic'd-up guitar cab in incredible detail. Deep-dive using the accompanying free Architect software and capture the incredible tones via USB and XLR. Effects loop, 2x 9V DC outputs, and MIDI control for easy integration into your pedalboard or rig. Power Reduction switch allows you to select 100 Watts, 20 Watts, or 1 Watt to easily get the perfect balance of power and response for any situation from studio to stage. On board Chromatic Tuner allowing for tuning on the fly during live performances. The integrated OLED display screen allows you to visualize the tuner, changes to front panel settings, and allows you to adjust hidden parameters that are available whilst using the shift function. Reverb, Delay, and Modulation The Reverb type, time, and level can be customized on the front panel of the amplifier. The Reverb tone can be customized using Blackstar’s Architect deep-editing software and saved to the Dept. 10 AMPED 2 in place of the default reverb. When the Reverb is active, holding the Reverb footswitch will activate the ‘Freeze’ effect. The Delay type, time, feedback, and level can be customized on the front panel of the amplifier. The Delay pedal can be placed pre or post-the Amplifier section using Blackstar’s Architect deep-editing software. The Delay trails can also be turned on or off using Blackstar’s Architect software. When the Delay pedal is active, holding the Delay footswitch will activate the ‘Freeze’ effect. The Modulation type, time, depth, and level can be customized on the front panel of the amplifier. When the Modulation pedal is active, holding the Modulation footswitch will activate an ‘Emphasis’ effect. The current settings of the selected Modulation type will be emphasized, with the result being a more intense effect.
