This is for one marine grade stainless steel (AISI 316) bow shackle. Each shackle is stamped 316. The shackles are marked in the US specification style. This is a forged shackle which for load bearing applications is better than a cast shackle. Not to be used for overhead lifting. AISI 316 stainless is a premium grade of stainless and is considered by many to be best in class. 316 stainless is corrosion resistant and very durable even in the harshest of conditions

For persistent stains and marks use a bleach solution (not 100% chlorine) Goof Off® Mr. Clean Magic Eraser® or GOJO® Orange Pumice Hand Cleaner. To clean a petroleum stain such as grease or oil use a citrus cleaner alcohol or mineral spirits. In severe cases spray stains with WD40®. Then use toluene or acetone and a white nylon scrub pad.
