The lens mounts to the bottom of the microscope's objective housing using a 48mm thread. The lens provides a 48mm mounting surface for ring-lights. This is a brand new 0.5X Barlow (auxiliary objective) lens for stereo microscopes. It offers an 8.7" (220mm) working distance, doubles the field-of-view of your microscope, and cuts magnification power by half. This lens comes with a 2-1/8" (54mm) mounting thread and goes with SF series stereo microscopes.
