"Acanthus leaves decorate many of William Morris’ designs and they take on a central role in his Acanthus pattern for wallpaper. This classical motif translates beautifully onto this blackout lined, pencil pleat curtain. Morris believed that larger-scale designs were suited to smaller rooms as well as large rooms, as they are more restful on the eye, creating a calm atmosphere. The use of soft, natural, and grey tones further enhances the design, infusing it with a sense of gentle movement. Measuring the length required: If you are measuring a curtain length, take the measurements from the top of the track, so that the curtain will hide the track.
