This is classic, old world Sancerre named after the white slopes on which Sauvignon Blanc thrives.Founded in the 1930s, Domaine Cotes Blanches was established by Bernard and Pierre Millet. The second generation, Francois and Monique expanded the estate to twenty one hectares of vines in 1980. Now running the estate is Francois and Moniques son, Nicolas.Nicolas is fully devoted to the environment and the land that has been handed down to him. Fully organically farmed, decisions in the vineyard are dictated by mother nature rather than the calendar. The winery is entirely gravity fed rather than using machinery and pumpsAromas of crisp white peach, taught melon, and yellow plum. Richly textured with balanced fruit, minerality, and acidity.
