Featured across many designs from the period, Prism cuts typically run from the base of glassware before flowing into more elaborate detailing towards the rim. However, Richard Brendon’s Prism takes historic inspiration with a contemporary twist for the modern home. Each piece in Prism has a very tight pattern, with every cut in the glass offsetting its neighbour to create something simultaneously ornate and simple. The light bounces beautifully from within the pattern, with the detailing being particularly highlighted as a result of the polished base that showcases the sharp definition in each cut. The rest of each piece is left clean of any design, allowing the Prism pattern to shine and sit comfortably in a contemporary setting. Prism comprises the essential Tumbler, Highball and Decanter, but also introduces Richard Brendon’s first Goblet; paying true homage to pieces from Georgian Britain. During this time, everything from water to wine was served in Goblets, and the Prism cut applies particularly elegantly to this conical shape that widens towards the rim. Care instructions: Please wash your crystal by hand with warm soapy water and a soft sponge. Scouring pads or abrasive washing agents should not be used. Alternatively, our crystal is suitable for most domestic dishwashers. Dry your crystal immediately after washing using a lint-free cloth. We recommend our own Richard Brendon polishing cloth. Do not put your crystal in a microwave or oven. Do not store your crystal glasses upside-down, the lip of the glass is delicate and may be damaged under the weight of the glass.
