Encore Las Vegas
Encore exudes Vegas-style prestige housing, elite restaurants and the city's most exclusive lounges. The vibe: The epitome of luxury, modern sophistication, expansive suites, this hotel is worth every penny. What we love: As the name suggests...considering Wynn Las Vegas is its big sister...you can expect the best of the best at Encore. Starting at the suites (you won't find any "standard rooms" here) are spacious and, well, simply amazing. From the ultra comfy Wynn Dream bed and the TV in the bathroom (so you can watch TV while brushing your teeth) to the automated blinds and lights, everything in these suites is fantastic. The location of Encore is fantastic too. Connected to Wynn, it's not far from the center of the Strip. It's also right across the street from the Fashion Show mall, plus several other must-visit megaresorts are within walking distance. How shall we describe Encore's style? Exquisite. Impeccable. Bold. These are just a few of the words that come to mind. When you see the long Swarovski crystal dragon in Wazuzu or the golden statue of Daphne metamorphosing into a tree in Encore Lobby Bar, you'll probably come up with some of your own...if you're not rendered speechless. Insider tips: Are you a traveling vegan or vegetarian wondering how you'll survive in Vegas? Relax. If you're staying at Encore, you'll be pleased to discover that all of its restaurants (along with those at Wynn) have menu items designed especially for you. Use the self-parking garage at Encore. It's the kind of garage we wish all the hotels in Vegas had. When you drive in, you'll pull onto a ramp where a digital sign informs you of how many unoccupied parking spaces are available on each level. Once you've parked, it's a short walk to the elevator, which takes you to the property's northeast corner, near the pool and heart of the casino. Good to know: OK, when you choose to stay here you know you’re choosing to live on the luxurious side of life. It's not just the suites that look shiny and new. If you're looking for a meal sprinkled with sophistication and fabulousness, you’ve found it. Head over to Wazuzu (say Wazuzu ten times fast and try to tell us we didn’t give you 30 seconds of entertainment) or, If you don’t want to eat alone head over to Espresso, where you can pick up a quick coffee, pastry or sandwich and stuff your face in your room when no one is looking. The Encore Esplanade is home to a handful of unique stores, but if you're big on shopping you should head over to the Wynn Esplanade or Wynn Plaza. It's a bit of a walk but well worth it. There are more stores here and the names on them like Alexander McQueen. If you've come to Encore to go to XS, make sure to queue up immediately in the small rooms adjacent to the nightclub when you arrive. XS is located along the Encore Esplanade, so security guards will shoo you away if you appear to be hanging around with no purpose...because Encore is just not that kind of place. Also as an FYI, no outside food or beverages are allowed in the resort or the casino, even if you're staying in a room. All guests who arrive with these items will be told to throw it away or leave it in their car.

Wynn Las Vegas
Vegas hotels don't get any better than Wynn Las Vegas with its luxurious accommodations and the finest of fine restaurants and shops. The vibe: Razzle-dazzle architecture and décor, generously proportioned rooms, every possible convenience, totally gourmet. What we love: There's just something about staying at an elite hotel like Wynn that makes you feel swanky. Revered for elegance and for having incomparably high standards of service, it doesn't matter who you are because you'll feel like someone very important here. A breathtakingly beautiful atrium alive with trees, shrubs and flowers is situated near the lobby. We adore the whimsical floral installation, which is sure to make your spirits soar. It goes without saying that Wynn would have a gorgeously landscaped pool deck. But we'll say it anyway because lying in the gardens beside either of the two lovely main pools (or splashing out for a cabana) is like escaping to "Fantasy Island"...minus the plane, the island and Tattoo. Three words: Wynn Dream bed. Yes, this is a thing -- more specifically, it's a custom-designed Sealy mattress dreamily made up with 507-thread-count linens and overstuffed pillows and shams. A perfect night's sleep is guaranteed. Insider tips: Welcome vegans and vegetarians. All of the restaurants in Wynn (and Encore) have special menu items designed for you. So if you're out with a group, no worries. Wherever you choose to dine, there'll be something perfect for everyone to eat. Visit the Lake of Dreams, located behind the Strip's only manmade mountain. You can't see it from outside Wynn, but when you come inside look for the circular escalator and ride it to the bottom. From dusk until 12:30 a.m., fanciful shows filled with music and holographics play at half-hour intervals on the lake's 40-foot waterfall. The best viewing point is on the terrace of the bar called Aft. Nurse a drink or two and you'll have an evening of entertainment. Good to know: Wynn Resort rooms are big and well designed. The one thing they don't come with is a fridge. Now you will find a minibar in these rooms, but be warned: If you move anything from its place to make space for your own drinks and snacks, you'll automatically be billed for it. It seems silly to talk about upgrades at Wynn, but the possibilities are endless when every room and suite at this hotel feels like a little piece of heaven. That said, the Tower Suites have been awarded the prestigious Forbes Travel Guide Five-Star Award for nineteen straight years. Counted among the finest boutique hotels in the world, they have their own exclusive entrance, lobby and pool. Wynn is connected to its even more elegant sister property. So if you find you want to dial down the crowds and energy level a notch, Encore's quieter, boutique-style offerings are just steps away. Wynn has an awesome self-parking garage, but be aware that on extremely busy weekends as well as during major events or big premieres, you may want to go next door and use the self-parking garage at Encore. Also as an FYI, no outside food or beverages are allowed in the resort or the casino, even if you're staying in a room. All guests who arrive with these items will be told to throw it away or leave it in their car.

NoMad Las Vegas
NoMad Hotel brings the grandeur of Europe to Park MGM on the Strip. Wait, did we just say there's a hotel within a hotel? Ah yeah, we did, and no this ain’t no “Inception”-style dream, either. If “NoMad” sounds familiar, it’s because it is. Known for their romantic and extraordinary properties in New York and Los Angeles, the Las Vegas location is no different. Luxury, romance and first-class service is quite literally woven into every aspect of NoMad. Designed by French architect and designer, Jacques Garcia, each room and suite feels more like a home and less like a hotel. Exhibit A: custom furnishings and ridiculously soft linens. Other residence-like features include original artwork, large flat screen televisions, freestanding pedestal bathtubs and separate water closets. In other words, take your shoes off and stay awhile. So yeah, NoMad Hotel is technically a hotel within a hotel. But the truth is, it has a level of comfort that makes it feel like a home away from home. Swing by and check it out for yourself.

The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas
An ultra modern and high-end hotel with top-rated dining choices, popular nightlife options and unique, rotating attractions. The vibe: Über chic and sleek with a sophisticated design. This is a place to see and be seen. What we love: Normally, a combination of unlimited alcohol and a lack of inhibitions would veto the idea of a nice balcony in a hotel room. But at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, most Terrace One Bedrooms have a balcony. Even better, The Cosmopolitan has some of the best balcony views in town. For a bit extra, you can score a view of the Bellagio Fountains. And, while they cost more, the Wraparound Terrace Suites are panoramic and you can see all the way down or up the Strip (depending on which side of the hotel you're on). Three levels-three words: The Chandelier Bar. Draped in enough sparkling crystal to make even Liberace jealous, the bar is adorned by a few million crystals in strands that run from the ceiling to the floor, making revelers feel as if they’re wrapped in a chandelier itself. It’s super sexy with a lot to offer including different menus on the each of the three tiers. The first level is a little more casino bar-like and often has live music or a DJ. Climb the glass staircase to the second tier and you’ll find the unrelenting creativity of true mixologists. Up one more floor to the posh lounge where you will indulge in the feminine mystique with a bird’s eye view. Let's face it, at busy times all hotels have a wait at check-in. But at The Cosmopolitan the awesome floor-to-ceiling columns in the lobby that are wrapped in digital screens make the wait a bit more bearable. There's eight of them and their rotating displays of film, photography, 2D and 3D animation are mesmerizing enough to keep us distracted in line or waiting for someone. Bonus: The displays are curated and changed on a regular basis so there's always something new displaying. Insider tips: When booking one of the Terrace Wraparound Suites we love, make sure to ask for one that overlooks the Bellagio Fountains. The higher up you go, the more incredible the view. Take it from us; if you’re going to splurge on your vacation, this is where to do it. The second level of the Chandelier Bar has the best mixologists in the whole joint. While it’s not on the menu, order the Verbena. It’s an experience all on its own. You begin with chewing on the Szechuan Button, a little flower bud that will make your tongue tingle and go numb before the infusion of citrus and ginger burst into your mouth. Where else can you get an experience like that (assuming you’ve moved on from the days of pop rocks and soda)? If you’re looking for a fine-dining experience on a budget, skip dinner and indulge in a little midday gluttony. Good to know: The underground parking garage can be a bit confusing and kind of feels like you’re driving down into the center of the earth. If you’re claustrophobic, your Spidey sense is going to be out of control. The first set of elevator banks in the garage will not only take you to the lobby for check-in, but also straight to the buffet. The elevators at the west end are closer to the casino and shopping. While some people are completely comfortable in their silver fox or cougar status, others may think the crowd is a little too young and rowdy. If your glory days were more than two decades ago, you may want to consider your threshold for drunken 20-something shenanigans. Opulence ain’t cheap, folks. While you may not have to auction your first-born child to pay your tab, this is definitely not the dollar store. But honestly, if money is what you’re worried about on your next trip to Vegas, you probably won’t stay here anyway. This is definitely a place for those who appreciate the finer things in life. Smoking anywhere within the Cosmopolitan is no longer allowed, you can however still light up while seated at a slot machine or while at a table game if it has a plexiglass divider, inside the sportsbook or if you're sitting inside a lounge. What shows and concerts are playing at The Cosmopolitan?: Shows playing at The Cosmopolitaninclude seasonal concerts and headliners in the Chelsea Theater, along with headlining DJs at the Marquee Nightclub & Dayclub. What is there to do at The Cosmopolitan?: The Cosmopolitan has the Superfrico supper club, Dive In Movies at the Boulevard Pool, multiple bars with live entertainment, luxury shopping and the Marquee Nightclub. What makes The Cosmopolitan unique?: A foodie's dream dripping in glitz and glamour, The Cosmopolitan has some of the best food on The Strip with an elegance that is unrivaled. Make sure you take a picture with one of the giant high-heeled shoes around the resort.

ARIA Resort & Casino
Sporting magnificent modern architecture and top-tier dining, entertainment, pool and spa options, ARIA stands tall as a hip resort in the heart of the Strip. The vibe: Modern, gleaming and chic. Luxury on all levels What we love: ARIA Las Vegas opened at the end of 2009 and it still has that new car smell. The rooms are a tech lover's dream, featuring the latest gadgetry (keyless locks, personalized automation, etc.). Each room includes an in-room tablet where you'll have one-touch control of lighting, temperature, draperies, music, in-room dining and more. Simply put, you're the master of your domain at ARIA Las Vegas. Open year-round, the pool area at ARIA is like something out of the Garden of Eden. Three ellipse-shaped pools are spread across a palm tree-laden deck. Insider tips: Be an art lover. ARIA's got an impressive fine art collection, and you don't have to pay a museum admission cost to view it. Several pieces dot the property's indoor and outdoor public spaces. So spend the day exploring, it's totally worth it. Spend an afternoon at ARIA's Spa & Salon. There are some seriously unique amenities in here including a Shio salt room (its salt-infused air improves both your breathing and skin) and Ganbanyoku heated stone beds, which are unbelievably soothing to your muscles. Good to know: There isn't a bad room in the house. Since the price point is elevated here, why not just go all out and upgrade to one of the Sky Suites? With the one-bedroom penthouse, not only will you get postcard-worthy views and more flat-screen TVs than you'd find in an electronics store, but you'll enjoy extras like limousine transport from the airport, a personal concierge and access to the private Sky Suites Lounge, where you can indulge in drinks (yes, this includes alcohol) and snacks all day and night long. If you're thinking of smoking in your room at ARIA, don't. At checkout, you might find you've been hit with a $500-$1000 smoking restoration fee. Be aware that most of the resort's rooms (98 percent of them, only a few high roller suites have been exempted) are nonsmoking, so the only places you'll be able to light up are on the casino floor or in various bars. Parking at ARIA seems more confusing than it really is. The only way to access this garage is by turning off the Strip onto Aria Place. Follow the signs (there is no light) as these will indicate where the left turnoff is to a long ramp that goes down into the garage. This feels trickier than it is because you don't actually see the garage they guide you towards. We also just want to add that ARIA is set way back from the Strip. Of course, most Vegas Strip resorts involve a walk to reach Las Vegas Boulevard, but this is one of the longer ones. To get to the Strip, you'll have to go through The Shops at Crystals or walk along a series of shops parallel to City Center Place and take a pedestrian bridge across to The Shops at Crystals. Think of it as your workout to burn off those buffet calories.

Vdara Hotel & Spa at ARIA Las Vegas
Vdara Hotel & Spa at Aria Las Vegas is an all-suite, non-smoking and non-gaming hotel that features a wonderful pool deck and luxury rooms. The vibe: Chic boutique, secluded and artsy with modern touches. What we love: Vdara Hotel & Spa at ARIA Las Vegas seriously feels like a peaceful retreat, right in the heart of the Strip. Each suite includes a kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a separate soaking tub and walk-in shower and slick flat-screen TVs. Each suite also has a separate seating area, which makes your stay a lot more comfortable. If you want to do it big, the Panoramic Suites have a marvelous 270-degree view of the city. Insider tips: Spend an evening at Vice Versa Patio & Lounge, which has a beautiful outdoor patio complete with swings, fire pits and a curved reflecting pool. Your biggest issue will be deciding where to sit. Vice Versa is also open in the afternoon where you can enjoy some refreshing seasonal cocktails. Good to know: Vdara doesn’t have a casino, nightclub, shopping plaza or showroom. Keep in mind that Vdara is a non-smoking resort. At checkout, you will be fined a cleaning fee. If you want to light up, you'll need to do that next door at Aria's casino or bars. One of the perks about the hotel not having a casino is you don’t have to worry about the smoke. Plus, this eliminates a lot of the noise, making Vdara a super relaxing hotel. Also, Bellagio and Aria are both a quick walk away, so you can get your casino, show and shopping fix here.

California
It might be named for the Golden State but it’s all about Hawaiian flair at the California Hotel (or The Cal as we locals like to call it). The hotel has become kind of a mecca for visitors from Hawaii. Staff members don Hawaiian shirts, island hospitality is ever present and you can feast on the flavors of Hawaii at Aloha Specialties. The Cal is conveniently located about a block from the Fremont Street Experience. It’s also connected to Main Street Station hotel via a walkway so you can take advantage of things like their Triple 7 Brewpub, which we highly recommend you do. You can also easily walk to downtown attractions like The Mob Museum, or take a short ride over to the Las Vegas Premium Outlets - North. Besides Hawaiian food, The Cal offers everything from fast food to fine dining. The Redwood Steakhouse has a table for you in its Old Vegas-style dining room if you’re in the mood for steak. For American classics served 24 hours daily, there's the Market Street Cafe. Be sure to try their legendary oxtail soup. If it's a drink you're looking for, grab one at the easygoing San Francisco Pub or the elegant Main Street Bar. Or enjoy catching up on the day's games at Dave's Bar, located next to Cal's Sports Book on the second floor. Test your luck in the 36,000-square-foot casino, where you'll discover more than 1,100 slot and video poker machines and 28 different table games. For a bit of luck, swing past the California's giant Buddha statue, placed just off the lobby near the elevators, and give its belly a rub. Guests who want to venture outside of downtown can take a complimentary shuttle to Sam's Town on Boulder Highway and from Sam's Town to the Strip. For those who just want to stay at The Cal and relax there's a small rooftop pool that guests can lounge around and take in the views of downtown Las Vegas and the surrounding mountains. Oh, and if you are crazy curious about how a hotel named after California became a mecca for all things Hawaiian, it's all due to gaming pioneer Sam Boyd who tailored The Cal to appeal to Hawaiian tourists. You can read about it in the book "California Hotel and Casino: Hawai'i’s Home Away from Home." The hotel will be undergoing construction on the west hotel tower starting Sept. 6. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the front desk.

Park MGM Las Vegas
Smack dab between the center and south end of the Strip, Park MGM combines grand-style architecture with a calm and earthy attitude. Note: Park MGM is a smoke-free resort. The vibe: Lush color schemes paired with earthy elegance, Park MGM instills a sense of serenity with a smidge of European flair. What we love: Park MGM is different from anything you’ll see anywhere else on the Strip. We are living for their self-check-in kiosks! These kiosks are hassle free and eliminate the lines we all dread when normally checking into a hotel. On average, it takes about three minutes to get everything you need: your room and your keys. Not a techy? No worries, because Park MGM has people on-hand to assist if needed. Another thing you’ll appreciate is the hotel’s prime location. Everything, including world-class entertainment at T-Mobile Arena and Dolby Live at Park MGM, is walking distance. The hotel even has a free tram that takes you to ARIA, Bellagio, Vdara and The Shops at Crystals. So not only is it in a good location, it can take you to other famous locations on the Strip, too. Last, but not least, Primrose. This cute, little French-inspired restaurant is sure to steal your heart. They have a gorgeous outdoor patio and a stunning entry way that will inspire your inner home decorator. And the food definitely matches the vanity. Insider tips: Park MGM definitely paid close attention to detail, like real close. Subtle details flood the insides of Juniper Cocktail Lounge, Bavette’s Steakhouse & Bar, and Best Friend. First off, Bavette’s isn't just the perfect place for a savory steak, they also have a speakeasy in the back. To get there, you basically have to walk straight into the back wall where you'll find a hidden doorway on the right. Juniper Cocktail Lounge has a jaw-dropping cocktail program. Order the “No Judgement” and see the top of your drink literally set ablaze. Calling their mixologists “lit” is an understatement. Oh, don’t think we forgot about the BetMGM Sportsbook and Bar after those fancy fire tricks. This is the best place to grab a quick meal for a super affordable price. Our all-time favorite feature is their weigh and pay menu. If you’re someone who doesn’t like big portions or leftovers, this is made for you. They weigh your food on a scale and you pay for it. It's that simple. This is the best way to grab just the right amount of food without waste. Good to know: Eataly is the ultimate in culinary exploration with tons of restaurants and counter-service spots to try. This fantastic spot also offers guests the ability to purchase these premium ingredients to test out their own cooking skills. So go ahead and take a trip to Italy with you tastebuds before bringing home these gourmet meats, cheeses, and sauces to enjoy again later.

SAHARA Las Vegas
Party around the clock at SAHARA Las Vegas Hotel & Casino on the north end of the Strip. Along with trendy pools, bars and nightclubs, this hotel is packed with celeb chef dining options. The vibe: Luxury meets modern-day business. What we love: This is a property with history - and we love that. An important piece of Elvis and Rat Pack lore, the Sahara Hotel & Casino is filled with so much history. SAHARA Las Vegas is packed with high-tech wonders. There are seven different digital art installations in and around the property. Walk across color-changing floor tiles triggered by your feet inside the main entrance. And the north side of the parking garage facing Resort Pool Club forms a canvas for 3-D video mapping that will blow your mind. (We'll leave it to you to find the remaining installations yourself.) Insider tips: Like the Blanca Tower, many of the rooms in the other towers at SAHARA Las Vegas boast interesting features. If you're in the mood for romance, reserve a room in the Alexandria Tower. It comes with a mirror on the ceiling and a playful peek-a-boo shower. The Alexandria Tower suite also has a banquette by the window - perfect for kicking back in your plush bathrobe. For some of the best people watching at the north end of the Strip, head to the beer garden at Beers & Bets. This outdoor area stretches alongside Las Vegas Boulevard near Sahara Avenue. Good to know: Because SAHARA Las Vegas is home to so many party places, you're going to hear pumped up, EDM-style music overhead throughout the resort. And since the entrances to many of pool clubs, bars and nightclubs are in public areas, you're also going to see long entry lines along with plenty of young partiers milling around.

Excalibur
Named after King Arthur's legendary sword, Excalibur is a hotel at the south end of the Strip that mixes medieval style with modern conveniences. The vibe: Fun-for-all-ages atmosphere, no frills accommodations, faux castle theme What we love: There's an obvious reason why people choose to stay at Exalibur: it's cheap. And even with the resort fee, you'll still save a bundle. Although this gigantic white castle with spires of bright red, blue and gold doesn't quite hearken back to the Middle Ages, you'll love tweeting out from the drawbridge or the Fun Dungeon (just rein in your "50 Shades of Grey" fantasies because this is an arcade and carnival-style midway for families). Insider tips: Excalibur is connected to Luxor (which in turn is connected to Mandalay Bay) by an enclosed passage. This is great on summer days when - trust us - you don't want to walk out in the sweltering heat. If you've got a car, you should access Excalibur from Frank Sinatra Drive and not directly from the Strip. This will take you behind the resort to its three-story self-parking garage. You'll then walk across the road (Luxor Drive) and enter through the rear entrance. Good to know: Don't expect the rooms at Excalibur to have medieval décor. The furnishings are traditional - no garderobes here (and thank god because if you know what a garderobe is you don't want one). Also, if you smoke in a non-smoking room, there will be a pretty big fine at checkout. Save yourself the trouble and light up in designated smoking areas throughout the casino. What shows and concerts are playing at the Excalibur?: Shows playing at the Excalibur include: Tournament of Kings, Mac King Comedy Magic Show, Australia's Thunder From Down Under, and Austrailian Bee Gees. What is there to do at the Excalibur? : Excalibur offers a family-friendly Fun Dungeon Carnival Arcade, numerous shows, restaurants, casino games, and an outdoor pool. What makes the Excalibur unique? : Shaped like a castle, at the south end of the Strip, Excalibur has a fun-for-all-ages atmosphere that mixes medieval style with modern conveniences.

New York - New York
A moderately priced and family-friendly hotel on the Strip, New York-New York features the Big Apple’s most iconic symbols plus a roller coaster and plenty of affordable restaurant options. The vibe: Good value, family-friendly, a faux-urban version of New York. What we love: The Village Street Eateries with all their neon sign splendor. Sure, it may be a glorified food court, but they put some serious effort into modeling it after a brownstone-clad neighborhood in Greenwich Village. Also, you're a hop, skip and a jump away from The Park, located between the hotel and Park MGM. The Park's outdoor promenade features restaurants, trees and shade structures and the 40-foot-tall Bliss Dance statue. Catching a concert? The T-Mobile Arena is also a short walk away. Insider tips: That subway rumbling you feel is actually the Big Apple Coaster barreling above the casino. This can pose a problem if you’re an early-to-bed/early-to-rise kind of person, so make sure to ask for a room that isn’t next to the roller coaster or it could be 12:00 to 11 p.m. before you get some peace and quiet. If you’re a real New Yorker, you won’t even notice the screaming. Good to know: Where do we begin with the parking? While it may seem easily accessible from the freeway, depending on the direction you’re coming from, you may have to go down to the Strip and pass the front of the property before you can even get to the parking garage. Also, all hotel rooms are non-smoking. If you light up, be prepared to pay a cleaning fee for rooms and a cleaning fee for suites upon checkout. Your best bet is to smoke in designated areas, like the hotel's casino or bars.

Luxor
You can't miss Luxor, the giant glass pyramid at the south end of the Strip. It's home to artifacts from the Titanic and a giant sphinx statue. The vibe: King Tut at the disco, a mid-range themed hotel, family-friendly without being a circus. What we love: It's a freakin' pyramid. From the bat-attracting megawatt light on top to the sphinx out front, we love the Egyptian touches -- especially now that the kitschy décor has been dialed back from what the resort opened with in 1993. Luxor routinely offers some of the more affordable hotel rates on the Strip and the property is packed with things to do (the HyperX ESports Arena is our favorite). It won't break your budget, but you won't feel like you're staying in a budget hotel. Luxor has a large pool (and we're not just talking about the massive 125,650-square-foot deck). Their 19,000 square feet of sparkling water is bigger than the postage stamp-sized vanity pools you see at some resorts. Our only sadness is that it's closed seasonally from fall to spring. Insider tips: Enclosed, and more importantly, air-conditioned corridors connect the Luxor to Mandalay Bay and Excalibur so you'll never need to step outdoors in 100-degree weather. Good to know: The pyramid rooms have the added bonus that you get to ride an inclinator (a 39-degree angled elevator) to your room. Mark that off the bucket list. Pyramid rooms also open directly onto hallways that overlook the pyramid's atrium. Rooms on higher floors have a great view and also less noise. Keep in mind: All of the rooms are non-smoking. Guests who smoke in any room will have to pay a $300 cleaning fee upon checkout. Save yourself some money and smoke in designated areas like the casino. Want a cup of coffee in the morning? The Luxor, like many Las Vegas hotels, has eliminated coffee pots in their standard rooms. So if you need a java infusion in the a.m. head to the Starbucks located near the hotel lobby. Luxor has a massive casino (even by Vegas standards) so it's easy to get turned around. Just remember that while this is a pyramid, the bottom is a square (finally high school geometry pays off). If you get lost, head to the edge and follow it around. All the restaurants and the check-in desk are along the perimeter, with a food court) on the second level. At the center beneath the pyramid's apex is the casino. What shows and concerts are playing at the Luxor?: Shows playing at Luxor include: Fantasy, Blue Man Group, and Carrot Top. What is there to do at the Luxor? : Bodies... The Exhibition takes an in-depth look at the human body while Titanic: The Artifact Exhibition examines the ocean liner's fatal trip and HyperX Esports Arena immerses you in a gamer's paradise. What makes the Luxor unique?: The pyramid-shaped Luxor gets its name from a city in Egypt along the Nile River. The pyramid has become a Vegas skyline staple for its unique shape.
