At the center of this futon is (2) 2.5 inch 1.5 pound density HR convoluted foam core, which provides resiliency and support. This core is wrapped in 4 layers of luxurious Organic Cotton batting that is processed by Natural Felt to our exacting standards. A fluffy layer of Eco-Valley wool is the final layer, which enhances bodily warmth in winter and coolness in summer. All of the materials are protected by a GOTS certified Organic Cotton fabric outer shell that features double-stitched seams, we then tuft our futons in order to keep all of the materials in place.
We also receive our Eco-Valley wool from Natural Felt. They create the batts of wool by blending wool from different sheep breeds. They visit each wool grower to assure that the wool comes from healthy sheep, raised sustainably on managed lands. Paid a premium for the best fleeces of their flocks from the collaborating growers, the fleece is cleaned and carded which produces the finest known woolen batting.

The heart of the Woolspring is (1) 2" piece of Certipur Foam surrounded by Wellspring fiber batting. (2) pieces 2.5" convoluted Certipur foam wrapped in Wellspring fiber creates approximately 8" of total loft. A fluffy layer of high quality wool is the final layer, which enhances bodily warmth in winter and coolness in summer. The Woolspring is environmentally friendly, durable and very comfortable. All of the materials are protected by a heavy 100% cotton outer shell that features double-stitched seams, then our futons are tufted in order to keep all of the materials in place.
Our exclusive Wellspring fiber is a revolutionary material that utilizes the second use of plastics. It's a virgin fiber that is generated from recycled polyethylene, familiar to you as two liter beverage containers. It's clean, odor free, and very resilient. The fibers look and feel incredibly fluffy, soft, and very finely textured. The Wellspring fibers are amazingly light, and easy to work with. Our recycled fiber is non-allergenic and extremely comfortable. Wellspring fiber prevents millions of bottles from ending up in landfills.
