The D SERIES-PSP1A is a compact active loudspeaker that supplies rich, detailed sound in Decora-compatible wall or chassis mounts. It is a single-pair audio amplifier module compatible with RDL Format A twisted pair products. The PSP1A receives audio and 24 Vdc power through a rear-panel RJ45 jack. A rear-panel switch set during installation determines which of the three FORMAT-A pairs is amplified. Amplification is provided by a high-efficiency Class D power stage with audio filtering tailored for crisp, pleasant audio clarity. The high-efficiency Class D output stage produces negligible heat for all levels of expected voice or music modulation. The amplified output level is controlled by a front-panel volume control. The PSP1A includes an analog compressor/limiter that makes higher average sound output levels possible without clipping.The driver is constructed of materials found in premium larger speakers. The unique steel enclosure provides full baffling in a tightly sealed rigid structure. This produces sonic presence within an extended frequency range expected from larger speakers. Internal filtering rolls off out-of-band frequencies to reduce distortion and increase peak power capability. 2 Channel Remote Control for STICK-ON-Remote Selection of Audio or Video Sources

The front panel of the D-RC2ST features two pushbuttons with two associated LEDs. Upon initial power-up, source 1 is selected. Touching the other button de-selects source 1 and immediately selects source 2. An LED adjacent to each button shows which source is selected. In a typical installation, the D-RC2ST may be used to select between two audio or video sources, or to route audio to two destinations. To select between two audio sources, the D-RC2ST is connected to an RDL ST-SSR1 Solid-State Audio Switch. For video switching, an RDL TX-MVX may be used. For audio routing, an RDL ST-RX2 is used. In each of the above examples, only one output terminal is needed for triggering. Therefore a single shielded pair (or 3-conductor cable) is required for remote connection. For more complex switching networks, both outputs may be used. In installations where ULTRASTYLE™ wall controls are preferred, use the RUC-4 Universal Remote Control.
